thirumoolar today

Siddhar Thirumoolar
Thirumoolar sat in meditation for 3000 years in Thiruvaduthurai, a village near Kumbakonam, Tamil nadu. Every year, He sang one hymn; Thirumanthiram is a collection of 3000 hymns.
Thirumoolar is universally acknowledged as the greatest mystic or spiritual philosopher that the Tamil region of India has so far produced. He is regarded as the supreme preceptor and originator of the exoteric school of SIDDHAS . He lived, some believe, 3000 years ago. His teachings, despite being ancient appear amazingly convincing in the context of today's scientific temper.
He said, there is no need to search in places of worship or through all sorts of rituals. The way to reach God is to discover and enter into the self through the hidden trapdoors which only a great preceptor can guide. He was the first Indian saint to reconcile the yogic approach with the tantric way.
His book contains thirty stanzas devoted to a detailed instruction on how to leave one's own body, enter another body and return his own body. Thirumoolar took the body of herdsman 'Moolan' and wrote the famed script 'Tirumandiram'. His mantras are very simple, but it conveys a deep meaning in them.
The significant feature of Thirumandiram is that its author has dealt with Hashtaanga Yoga in great detail. While describing about the techniques of pranayama in poems (breathing practices) he has disclosed:
"That those who are capable of practicing them in the proper manner as stipulated will surely dispel death" (Thirumandiram: 571)
Siddhar poems were hard to interpret due to their cryptic quality. Many scholars and interpreters thought these poems belonged to the representation of mysticism and the occult.
I like to publish some of the important mantras and chakras for a person, who follows the yoga principles, but it’s unavoidable and unable to publish mantras and chakras were crypted from the tirumantiram poems due to it should not reach it to hands of unqualified persons.
Some of the interpretations of poems on medicines in tirumandiram were collected from many persons is given below for reference about how the various eye diseases occur and also remedies by common herbs to cure. But every person crypts and interprets will always differ according to their yogic stages. This is very important to read the poems and descriptions.
